No official mixed areas, but there will be Juve fans in the Inter sections, except for the curva. Don't act like a dick and you won't get hassled.

Ultra' are in the Curva Sud.

Personally, I'd be avoiding going for the curva until it becomes more apparent what is going to happen with the territorial discrimination stuff. You don't want to get tickets for the curva only to find it's been shut for that particular game.

So, was this in one of the mythical neutral areas that people were speaking about?

Standard away section is third tier. Think Milan Derbies are the only exception.

Think the Monday night games tend to involve teams who have played in the EL on the Thursday, so as to give them a little more recovery time.

Away section at San Siro is normally third tier these day.

Being a Juve member isn't going to help you buy tickets for the Inter end, I don't think. And get away from the idea of their being a 'neutral' section. There is the home end and the away end. Sure, some sections of the home end are going to be more dangerous for an away fan than others, but...

A couple of weeks or so, I think. You don't have to be a member, but members get first shout before a general sale, so tickets for big games might sell out before reaching general sale.

You'd be perfectly safe so long as you didn't make a big show of being a Juve fan.

Are you Italian? Non-Italians have never needed the Tessera, as far as I know. Some form of ID to match up to the name on your ticket is all that's required.

I didn't have any trouble getting tickets in advance for Inter-Milan last season. :boh:

Nice. Yeah, I could have got in the Celtic end, but couldn't handle it. How have you got the tickets?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2012/nov/21/court-ruling-ticket-resale-websites Ruling could have an impact if authroties were to seek to have it enforced across different jurisdictions. Don't know about anyone else, but I'd used viagogo for getting tickets for jaunts to Italy in the past.

Have only been to San Siro when Inter were at home, but it was easy enough to get tickets for the last Milan Derby through Inter's website and pick them up outside the stadium just before the game. Milan's crowds are going to be shit this season, so doubt you'll have too much trouble getting...

You're more likely to find people who are of use to you on one of the Italian-speaking Juventus forums, such as http://www.vecchiasignora.com/. Don't think there are any Torino based posters on here.

Aye, looking forward to it. As much just to get back to Italy to eat well and watch football as anything specific about where I'm headed.
