What strikes me is that Jovetic is good!

So do I, man. Matri's off the ball movement is sublime. He really knows how to position himself and set himself up to get good chances. He needs to be a little bit better in finishing them off, but I definitely see him close to the 20 mark next season.

Couldn't agree more. Ibra was like that too, there was so much more to his game than just being the classical bomber. About Llorente, yeah I suppose he falls into this category, but unfortunately he's just not good enough. He's like a lesser version of them all. Poor man's Ibra.

I think the need for the 'classical bomber', the "poacher", is somewhat ancient. The modern game definitely makes it possible to be successful with two SS'es up top. It all depends on what kind of midfield tactis you employ, though. But in a team like ours, I think Vucinic + Jovetic would be...

Indeed, that's just brutal! With a line-up like that, staying injury free, we could even bring home the CL, as teams have won the "big ears" with a lesser team than that (last year's winners, anyone?) Sigh.......
