the argument is not that Pogba is so good that no other player can possibly play the same role for us (even though that is arguably true). Its an argument from stability. Our midfield has to gel together again if Pogba leaves. We would have two new starting players in CM (since chisio is out)...
We didnt weaken it. The stars remain inside Serie A (as opposed to moving to the EPL) while Roma and Napoli can use the money to get players from outside Serie A.
Higuain to PSG or Arsenal would have weakened Serie A, not to Juve.
stage freight is a real thing. The pressure got to even Messi in the coppa final and this is a guy that is collecting CL trophies for a hobby and has more talent in his toenail than anyone else.
Higuain is no serial choker though he scores against all kinds of teams and with us he wont have...
yeah thats why i am skeptical.
Also there squad doesnt seem to be very short on players to be in dire need for that many squad players.
They have Gabbiadini as a CF if Higuain leaves. Zaza is not really a replacement at all for Higuain.
They have Callejon and Mertens and Hamsik and Insigne...
he peaked one season too early i think for them. Its next to impossible for him to repeat last season so his value is highest now. Problem is if they sell him for cash they will be strapped with bags of cash but would have to compete with the rich guys who are way more attractive than they are...
Investment that large but really is bench players. Maybe napoli are the only ones open to doing that weird exchange. Plus Higuain is on a higher level than these two.
If its a large investment of cash then I want Griezmann fuck Higuain and really anywone else.
What about Aubemayang? would...
Its never going to be 94 mill.
Most of it would be squad players like Zaza (30), pereyra (18), rugani (20), Stuurururu (18)
Something like that. Their squad would be shit without a top CF. I really doubt it will happen.
