From what I remember: Grand Budapest Hotel Darjeeling Limited Life Aquatic Royal Tenenbaums Moonrise Kingdom Rushmore Never seen Isle of Dogs or Fantastic Mr Fox. They don't look like movies I would enjoy. Haven't seen the French Dispatch yet either, but I definitely will at some point.

Color out of Space: I didn't really expect it, but I thought this was very good, an intense watch even. Very well made. Brilliant sound design as well. Although I'm sure many people would disagree with that opinion because this movie is, basically, completely batshit crazy. And there are also a...

Well, they did make a Hollywood remake. Which was, obviously, disappointing. Although I seem to remember the remake getting pretty good reviews as well. Personally, I didn't like it because they ironed out some of the rougher edges & it lacked a lot of the atmosphere that made the...

Truly exceptional movie. I remember being very impressed when I watched it.

Had some great moments, but overall I didn't really like it. Couldn't get into it for some reason. Some of the most recent ones I watched. Because, well, what else am I going to do? Watch the CL? :lol2: Sollers Point: It's all right. The kind of movie the average movie critic adores, I guess...

A 4 hour superhero movie? :scared: Even if I've been in lockdown for 8 of the past 12 months, I'm still not going to spend my time on that. Some recent ones I saw: Salvo: Terrible. I don't mind slow movies, but at least make it interesting. Watching paint dry would be far, far more...

Movie Talk (New Films, Old Films... doesn't matter)

One of my favourite movies of the past few years. The last 15 or 20 minutes are a bit of a let down, but other than that it's absolutely brilliant. Whoever the director of photography of this movie was did a remarkable job. So many impressive shots. Hell, there are moments in the movie where...

If you think The Big Lebowski is nothing more than just "enjoyable", there's something wrong with you.

I probably don't get them, but to me they are quite tedious. The kind of movies that make me ask myself: what's the point? They often seem to have a lot of annoying characters as well. I'm fairly terrible at remembering this. So, a very incomplete list of the ones I (re)watched fairly recently...

Well, that's one of those I thought was "meh" :D The ones I've seen: Hable Con Ella, La Piel Que Habito: meh Todo Sobre Mi Madre: pretty weak Volver, !Atame!: absolute crap It's quite unlikely that I'll ever watch one of his movies again. I think I gave him enough chances.

Perfect examples of "meh" movies. The ones I've seen, at least. I'll never understand all the great reviews they seem to get.

Makes sense. As the football we watch is quite tedious as well.

I have the Italian one. It's average at best. Obviously worth watching as a Juve fan. Not worth it if you are not. The makers made some weird decisions in who to include / focus on. Certain important Juve personalities (mostly from the past) are basically never mentioned, while others keep...

As much as I like Paul Rudd, Ant-Man was craaaap :D Blade 2 is actually my favourite Marvel related movie. So, nothing scary so far? :D

Not to me he won't. Not a bad actor, but probably the most overrated one working today. Which explains why RDJ always plays the same character. That range :D

So, multiple pages about Italian cinema, and no one mentions "La meglio gioventù"? I am disappoint.

I see. Personally, I rarely shit while watching movies. At least not voluntarily.

Watching a movie & simultaneously posting on the Interwebs. I'm gonna have to take offense at that
