    Andrea Pirlo

What an amazing conicidence that Pirlo got better once Lazio tired and Matri started making runs for him to hit...

    Massimiliano Allegri

Not true. I've never liked 3-5-2 as a system, but I could see the logic of Juve using it under Conte. I merely accepted it was being used and didn't moan about it continuously the way many others did. 3-5-2 is fine for specific games here and there, but I'd never choose to have it as the...

Non-Juve Transfer news (official or rumors)

The summer plans of Roma and Napoli have been thrown into chaos after Ryan Jack signed a new contract to remain with the mighty Dons.

Because he was angry with himself, perhaps.

    Massimiliano Allegri

Yeah, I don't see playing 3-5-2 as a mistake. Lazio chose to kill the game by simply matching up to Juve and neither side's individuals were able to assert themselves properly in the one-on-ones around the pitch to give an advantage one way or the other. Given that the game was dead, there was...

    Summer mercato 2015

Juve planning two different sets of transfers - one if a major player (Pogba) happens to leave and one if no major player leaves? :boh:

[Coppa Italia Final] JUVENTUS 2-1 Lazio (May 20th, 2015)

Well that was a remarkably uneventful game. Most pundits won't notice because of the two early goals, but essentially nothing happened there for 90 minutes. There was never any real threat that a goal would come from open play or even from a counter-attack. That's not to say it was a bad game...

[Coppa Italia Final] JUVENTUS 2-1 Lazio (May 20th, 2015)

Anyway, has anyone been shot yet? The build-up to last year's final was pretty entertaining.

[Coppa Italia Final] JUVENTUS 2-1 Lazio (May 20th, 2015)

That's certainly what Roma fans would have you believe. When I've hung around Rome before games there has been little evidence that a game was taking place. Some Roma youths were out making a racket the night before the Derby, but nothing much in terms of folk showing colours until you get out...

    Edinson Cavani - ST- PSG

Juve should get rid of Caceres. Aa useful a player as he may be in theory, there's no point in having a relatively expensive back-up who is injured as much as he is. But I don't understand the clamour for Juve to sign a left-back and put Asamoah back in midfield.

[Coppa Italia Final] JUVENTUS 2-1 Lazio (May 20th, 2015)

I think I'd be playing Matri rather than Llorente in this one. Lazio are more vulnerable to movement in behind than they are against a fixed target-man like Llorente.

[Coppa Italia Final] JUVENTUS 2-1 Lazio (May 20th, 2015)

Not having Biglia is a big loss for Lazio. There is every chance those midfielders will get caught too high up the pitch and give Juve counter-attacking chances. And if they do hold their shape, Parolo not being able to break forward is still a big loss for Lazio. I think 3-5-2 is the right...

    Angelo Ogbonna

It's amazing the things one misses when off the forum for a while. I had no idea that Ogbonna had become the worst defender in the world and utterly worthless until I returned. I suppose that sort of label had to be tranferred somewhere once Bonucci proved so many people wrong.

He'll get over it. Man City? Would PSG sack Blanc just now? They really wanted Ancelotti before he went to Madrid.

    Edinson Cavani - ST- PSG

I would think so. It's the sort of contrived article that reminds me of past suggestions of certain companies helping Juve sign a high-profile player for marketing purposes.
