[CL] Real Madrid 1-1 JUVENTUS (May 13th, 2015)

The gap wasn't that big. Juve dominated the first 20 mins. Real came into the game, were the better side up to halftime, deserved their equaliser and could have scored another during that period. Game was pretty flat in the second half until Juve scored. Juve were happy with 2-1 and...

[CL] Real Madrid 1-1 JUVENTUS (May 13th, 2015)

Playing a midfield as attacking as Real's one is just so dangerous. Not only can it lead to the concession of counter-attacks, there is also the problem of not having enough control over the midfield to consistently get the ball to the forwards, which can render it rather pointless loading the...

[CL] Real Madrid 1-1 JUVENTUS (May 13th, 2015)

Didn't see that game, but I'd be starting with Ramos in midfield (as bad as he was there in Turin) if I was them. They are only 2-1 down - it's not like they have to go crazy pushing to score goals the whole game.

[CL] Real Madrid 1-1 JUVENTUS (May 13th, 2015)

Looking at that team, you'd have to consider it a major failure by Juve if they don't score.

The only question I've seen is whether it's Benzema or Hernandez as centre-forward.

[CL] Real Madrid 1-1 JUVENTUS (May 13th, 2015)

Don't think Real can plan to do anything other than dominate possession with the line-up that is being suggested.

[CL] Real Madrid 1-1 JUVENTUS (May 13th, 2015)

So Real are going to play a midfield with no remotely defensive players in it? If that's the case, Juve might need to rethink their gameplan. There could be the chance for extended spells of possession with Juve's midfield dominating.

[CL] Real Madrid 1-1 JUVENTUS (May 13th, 2015)

Any word on the Real team? Is Ramos likely to play in midfield again?

[CL] Real Madrid 1-1 JUVENTUS (May 13th, 2015)

Well, Ancelotti may have spoken about the need for patience, but I would expect Real to try and start fast and put Juve under pressure in the opening 10-15 mins. It'll be interesting to see how Juve deal with that. They'll need to decide on the balance between just clearing the ball, and...

Paulo Dybala - ST - Palermo

It's a bit silly given the bigger problems at Roma that are causing the team as a whole to underperform. If Iturbe was doing badly when all around him were doing well, it'd be more understandable to worry about Iturbe's poor season. But, given that Iturbe and Dybala are very different players...

    Fernando Llorente

There is also the issue with Llorente that there is little sign that he can perform to a reasonably high level when not getting much playing time. As well as his wage, that's a pretty big factor to count against him when considering whether he can be a useful back-up next season.

    Summer mercato 2015

Was reading something the other day suggesting it was the other way round: Rugani joins Juve if they manage to sell Ogbonna.

    Shoes!

Depends what they are to be worn with. Don't like black shiny shoes with anything other than a suit. Bit of black suede can be good with more casual gear.
