    [ITA] Coppa Italia 2014/2015

Walk, it's not that far. If you aren't close enough to walk straight there, get the subway to Ottaviano and walk up from there. It's about 15 mins from Ottaviano. Coming in from that direction also takes you nicely up to the Curva Sud from an angle that avoids the likely trouble spots...

Serie B: Rimini vs Juventus [09/09/2006]

I may finally put that moniker to bed when I go and play golf instead of watching the CL Final. Might catch some of the game, but will likely be on the bus back during the second half.

Serie B: Rimini vs Juventus [09/09/2006]

They may have made for grim viewing, but the forum was never more fun than in those years of perpetual chaos and meltdown after meltdown. Great times. :touched: - - - Updated - - - Standing in the Curva Sud as Pastore's Palermo thrashed Delneri's/Marco Motta's Juve. :touched:

    [CL] Champions League 2014/15

It'll be 4-3-1-2 (or similar). Go and watch Allegri's Milan beating Barca 2-0 a couple of years ago. That'll give you a pretty good idea of what to expect Juve to try and do in the final.

Better than the English pundits speaking about how Ronaldo's away goal at San Siro could prove decisive.

    Leonardo Bonucci

Remember when Bonucci playing in a back four was a sure sign of the impending apocalypse? Or before that when he was just the worst player in the entire world? Where is Cronios to tell us if the 73m spent on Bonucci has proved to be value for money?

Bus ticket bought. I'm golfing that day and probably won't see much of the final.

Yup. Have to establish who is viewed as the home team from the point of view of strips and dressing rooms.

[CL] Real Madrid 1-1 JUVENTUS (May 13th, 2015)

The forwards were still too static. What I didn't understand was that Juve kept playing balls to Morata who had Ramos at his back. That's the situation Ramos wants. The balls forward should have been in front of Varane or beyond Ramos to try and take advantage of their weaknesses.

[CL] Real Madrid 1-1 JUVENTUS (May 13th, 2015)

Juve's performance away to BVB was a thing of beauty. Once I saw that, I thought Juve were back to a point when they had a chance to beat anyone. Can't claim to have been thinking far enough ahead to contemplate them winning the thing.

[CL] Real Madrid 1-1 JUVENTUS (May 13th, 2015)

Vidal was okay but wasteful in possession. Pirlo was okay. Marchisio was quiet, but that just means he doesn't do anything positive - he still doesn't harm the team. Pogba did all that could be expected of him in the circumstances, but he can't have been at more than 60%. The more I think...

[CL] Real Madrid 1-1 JUVENTUS (May 13th, 2015)

I know what you mean. Once Bale had his shot that went just past the post, I concluded Real could probably play all day and not score because it was all going Juve's way.

Suarez is basically what's changed for Barca. That Milan team was the worst Milan team people had seen at the time*. *This has been revised a few times since then. :D

:boh: Remember this game? Allegri played Barca perfectly, even with the shit Milan team he had at his disposal at the time.

[CL] Real Madrid 1-1 JUVENTUS (May 13th, 2015)

Well that was a fairly mixed performance from Juve. They started fine and got into the game, but then got careless in possession and Real's goal was coming for about five mins before it arrived because Juve kept giving the ball away and invited attack after attack. The defence did well to...
