i do so... the main pages are already working perfect on all browsers... but i've still some problems with the sub-pages.... i build a page that pops-up in a new windows and everything has to be at the same place.... (all the borders and so on...) but dreamweaver is nevertheless quite...

i understand... if u build a page it's often really annoying.. in one browser it works perfect and in the other one not... especially layers are a problem... netscape and ie often display them completely different...

hmm... did u just set the table bg to the color of the line? u can create a thin horizontal line using css in dreamweaver... u can create a new css-sheet and then in the "borders"-section u can choose where the border should be.... u can also choose the size - 1px then u can drag&drop the...

personally i don't like geocities neither.... i would search free webspace without ads... i have nearly finished my new site (in dreamweaver), but i still have a small problem - in mac-browser safari it looks fine, while in internet explorer there's a small white space at the bottom...

i worked also a "long" time on windows and i used all the apps i wrote replacements for.... they can do more or less the same... about the price - they don't cost more than pc-software... some apps are even free... for the others u have 3 possibilities: use the shareware, buy it or search...

fetch i use it too.... on my mac same goes for this one.. is available too, itunes... <--best mp3-player around... toast... u can use itunes for this.. stuffit can do everything... the messengers are all available i have to look at home, but i'll find something... there are...

sorry, don't get your point... i don't want to fix a problem with more hardware... apple has all the software one needs (even more pro-apps than for win) - and i wanted to demostrate it to alex by showing him software solutions for his needs.....

yeah mac OS for windows pcs ;-) but since the current mac processors beat the ones in windows ones by miles it won't happen in the near future... (only if mac's processors are sooo bad that nobody wants them)
