i haven't noticed any new talent during this WC. here in italy the media talked a lot about golovin, which seems to me a total average player.

i think the apparent inconsistency is due to our lack of infos, more than a possible disagreement between CR and florentino on what the agreement was.

this would mean a straight breach of the gentlemen's agreement, that is the very basis which the whole deal relies on.

just for the record, marca's front page says: "- ronaldo gave his word to agnelli - • wants to play with juve • has a 1.000 ml € clause • will be treated in accordance with the legend he is." so, it actually upholds the existence of a verbal agreement and florentino's intentions to...

it's more like this (according to GDM) : the only deal breaker would be florentino withdrawing his gentlemen's agreement, otherwise juve will sign CR. juve is "optmistic" indeed. filtra ottimismo.
