Paolo Maldini and Nesta are the only players I admire. I grew up watching them loving the game watching them.

When you say this player is class doesn't mean you admire him;).
I remember you admired Ambrosini once, so just asking.

And Sheva WAS class. He's far from it in the last 3 years. As far as it gets.

Your memory isn't bad at all. It was in the Italian NT thread for the Euros, when I said that Ambrosini should make the squad because he can offer more than the other midfielders Donadoni called.

I cheer for Italy therefore I support most Azzurri players. Even Totti and Gattuso.

But the only players I admire from Milan are the ones I mentioned.

Oh and Milan > Inter. Just felt like saying it.

ya but then again, zebak yeswa ktheer :flirt:

Based on last season's performance, he has a legitimate chance of being one of the top 3 in the world. Of course the best, is no doubt reserved to Messi who is out of this world. But second place is up for grabs, and its between Zlatan and Xavi if you ask me.
Aside from Messi and Ronaldo who i think are far ahead of other players
I would also rather have Gerrard and Kaka in a team than Ibra

But Ibra does dominate for Inter. sadly

I dislike them too, but difference is that I dislike Inter muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch muuuuuuuuuuuch more. Makes me more patriotic than you:juventus:
Look at it this way.... you hate Inter now.
What if after 5 years the same thing happens as it happened during Calciopoli and Milan take Inter's role.
Would you start disliking Milan more than Inter.

If you will then ok, but personally i still live in the pre-Calciopoli time where i hated Milan and i only had pitty for Inter. I never saw them worthy enough to hate them. :D

Yes, I will dislike/hate Milan more than Inter if this happens maybe on the same level with Inter, that's another possibilty. I never hated Inter that much until Calciopoli. Never. I was even supporting them in CL, believe it.

Milan would have taken Inter's place had they had the same role as Inter during Calciopoli.

Ibrahimovic is an excellent player, but hasn't done it on the big stage often enough for me to consider him in the very top bracket of players right now.
what do you mean with big stage? Because in sweden he is pretty much alone. Even the best players need support. And yet he was the best scorer for sweden in euro 2008.

In champions league he hasnt been as good as he can be, but there is still time.

Dude, what's there to dislike about him? He's the coolest footballer i've ever seen in my life.
Ok, Cantona and Stoichkov were just as cool, but top 3 ain't bad either.
Oh ya, that's exactly my opinion about him, he's as cool as footballers get:cool:. I just thought that as a Juve fan, you would dislike him.

Good question, theres proberly many answers from consipracies to them having a good manager to his sheer ugliness :D. I dont have an answer for that though I aint saying his crap but what im saying is I certainly for one wouldnt want to put him in the top 5 of the worlds best even 10 for that matter.
Conspiracies? As in Serie A defenders conspiring together to make him look like one of the best players in the world? Ya, that seems feasible.

As a neutral, i have to say that he is heads and shoulders above every other player in the Serie A last season. He was absolutely amazing last season, a single man team like Alen said, and whats more amazing, is with all that, he's also an extremely entertaining player.

I personally would put him in the top 3 for last season's performances. You can argue that he should be top 5 instead of top 3, but less than that is going to be extremely hard for you to argue.

So why did you (and do) hate Milan anyway?

Milan are pretty big in Croatia i would believe. Kinda like why Andy hates English teams, why i hate Real Madrid etc.

Di Vaio did. Milito did. And those two didn't have some of the best players of the league playing behind them.
What? Did you see Zlatan's performances last season. He was toying with Serie A like they were a bunch of amatuers. He was absolutely amazing, and i just don't see how you can compare Milito and DV to Zlatan based on last season's performances.

The former two might have scored a lot of goals, but their performances were nowhere close to that of Zlatan's.
