True, I don't see us escaping the system anytime during our lifetime.

That part about economic hitmen was amazing.

That's the reality, but people will say that it can't be possible and deny it, even when the guy who did the job admits to it. Really strange how we have become so conditioned.

Yous post brought The Matrix to mind. Those are the guys who would've picked the 'blue pill' from Morpheus' hand.

"The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it."

Changing your perception is hard as shit, that's what I gotta say.. Now try convincing a manager at BP/BMW/Wallmart to quit his $100.000+ a year job for to better the world.

Well, they are available. Set up turbines across all of the plains and you have quite the energy source.

Have to break out of the funk with oil which will only happen once it's all gone though.

the movie is ruined by allegations that vast renewable energy sources are easily available using current technology
Bit late to respond, but:

they are available, but what the movie fails to mention are the big downsides. It is however clear that there is no apparent reason that the dependance on oil is still so huge.

As if you know anything about anything presented in the film.
as if you know anything about me.

I'll comment on the movie before commenting on the addendum.
I wrote this somewhere else before but since you decided to act as a smart ass i am posting it here again.

The Movie:
their claim that all religion was man made was pretty bold even with the evidence they give. The movie obviously target Christians alone if not only Christian Americans and pushes them away from religion and money... totally destroys the image of the christian God that advocates love, peace and brotherhood and creates a new human group of Gods (bankers and assholes) that are striving to control every aspect of life.

Things i liked about the movie:
1) The style of presentation (sound effects etc.) but that is not much needed in a documentary.
2) The compare and contrast method between ancient pagan religions and Christianity. (which turned out to be total BS and made up)
3) Their criticism on the fear weapon on people.

Things i disliked about the movie:
1) Focuses immensely on ethos(emotions) rather than logos (logic) [hence the strong use of sound effects etc..]
2) Targets Christian Americans Alone as if they are the only people on the planet.. (unless the movie claims that every religion is created by man to do the same plot the US government supposedly has)
3) The theory of man made religion is not weak but its relation to their X-files theory of control is absurd as Religion is thousands of years old and the supposed plot is 60 years old by maximum.(unless this plan is set since the stone age) The movie boldly and stupidly says "since religion is false because of so and so.. then it is a weapon used by people to blind you from the truth."

4) They criticize the fear weapon to get you on their side then they use it against you for different goals.

From where i see it, the movie's three parts are:
Part 1) Since you are a believer i have to turn you into an atheist.
Part 2) Now that you no longer believe in God... no one does... everybody is lying about everything.. 911 is an inside job... dont believe your government they are evil.

Part 3) Now you dont believe in God and you don't believe in Governments and other humans... everyone is lying... but I the movie maker knows the truth.. they lie to control you through planted microchips that they can turn off using their tv remote controls while jerking off to cartoon network.

I am sorry but when i gave it much though i think this movie is fail
And if you do some googling:google: you will find out that the numbers they use are dramatically exaggerated, the info about other religions that look like Christianity are made up in most cases, and their sources are mostly conspiracy sites or books that are nowhere to be found lol. Just :google: Zeitgiest Debunked.

===============================================

My comment on the Addendum:

think they realized they fucked up in the first movie especially when they tried to push you using fear into agreeing with any x files crap they say.

- The description and criticism of the Monetary system is true and accurate.
The notion they expressed that the monetary system puts us in a game of musical chairs was the best thing said in the movie.

Until the effect of x files rises again.

- The technology they assume we have is very ambitious. The Movie again targets Americans only unless it assumes every country is parallel to America technology wise.

- Their prediction that says the monetary system will fail and it will have to be replaced may be true.. but the replacement utopia they suggest is very unrealistic.
They expect people to share access to everything and support each other everywhere in the world FOR NO REWARD not even a superstitious one. I think Plato's noble lie is more possible than the movies suggestion. Humans by nature expect something in return = HAPPINESS. Good is the object of the will as Aristotle said... Good makes you happy.. you wouldn't pursuit something unless it is good for you and will make you happy. People do charity either to please god(and get heaven IN RETURN) or to feel Good about themselves (feel good IN RETURN). If giving charity made me feel like shit i obviously wont do it.

The movie says you work to get payed and that is slavery. I entirely disagree. What is the purpose of life in their view? Just laying in bed doing nothing and let machines do everything for you till you die?
They obviously don't believe that there is a God so there is no after life so religious motives are gone. They say you should not work because it is slavery so no more going to work(if they think we should work and not expect anything in return then they should think again because that will never happen, why would i work 10 hours a day if it will be the same for me if i work 10 minutes a day? the outcome is the same, i have no need to work as i have access to everything). They say competition is bad because there is always a loser so no more competition. They expect everyone to be good, to work hard for no reason at all (in life and after death).

- The transformation process' steps they suggested us to take is absurd. It is absurd to think that this movement will have any effect on a supermarket before it affects the monetary system especially that their awareness campaign is targeted at americans alone.
I think the makers of this move hate the US and are trying every stupid method they can to bring it down .

Think about it.. they are trying to turn you (american viewers) into hating your government, stop using money.. stay at home online, dont go to work so that you are not a slave, let go of your religion, dont go to war .... more like become a Vegetable and wait for everyone else to be a vegetable like you.

In a sentence, the movie says It says lets all let go of everything and UNITE IN DOING NOTHING!

Through your rant, you presented no facts. Ask any historian about the validity of Jesus Christ and they will all say he was based on other figures. It's all a scam.

All of the stuff regarding 9/11 and the Federal Reserve check out as well.

Perhaps watch it again and cast aside your initial bias.

I'm sure that there's little evidence to prove black on white that the figure of Jesus Christ existed, but I do have to admit that it would make a hell of a lot of sense if someone who can be seen as the founder of christianity did exist around the year 0. Even if I'm not the biggest fan of christianity, I do think that some Jesus like figure was real. Personally I think he was some sort of thug, who rounded up his own group of weirdos to get to a better social position.
