I missed the tackle anyone got any video on it cos my mate phoned and said how bad it was.
Clumsy but not malicious.

Grygera caught Ronaldo just below the knee, but it wasn't forceful enough for there to be any serious harm done.

Why are you not talking about how poor he was in terms of defending instead of talking about the tackle? His constant backing off and sluggish tackles were an insult to our shirt..

He was fine defensively.

He made himself hard to beat and stopped a lot of crosses coming in from his side.

You complain about him backing off, but he was merely waiting for the right time to make a challenge.

If you dive in against good players they will beat you easily.

No, there is a difference between making the right call in terms of when to act and constantly backing of and putting your defence under instense pressure, sometiems giving them at least 20 yards of space. The guy is too afraid to challenge and be made a fool, also the less said about his passing the better.

How did he put the defence under pressure?

Would you rather he went diving into tackles and made it easy for a guy running at him to beat him?

How did he not? If you give space to your opposing player to go even further up the field and give the chance to cross..It sure puts your team under pressure. Whether the crosses were poor and nothing came of them it is a different matter..in other matches it might be different.
