Goals from Bianco and Volpato, nicknamed the ‘New Del Piero’ since his summer arrival from Padova , made sure the Old Lady won their fifth Coppa Carnevale.
i hate when the media does this!!
the new baggio, the new zidane, the new ronaldo.. shit it pisses me off.
no wonder players never live up to their potential. cant they just say, he plays similar to del piero, etc.
hes his own player. it happens all the time to young players. and it ruins their career.

The funny thing is that his way of playing is not similar to Dp's one
He's nicknamed like that only because of coincidences: they were both bought from Padova, they were both born in veneto (in 2 cities far about 50 km from each other), it's rumored that Rey was a juventino, just like Alex was.
This, according to journalists, makes him our "new Del Piero"
