Your opinion on new transfers (6 Viewers)

What are you?

  • I hope for the new signing to be good

  • I know that with this management no new signing is good

  • I think Rab(Azzurri7) should replace the current management.

Most folk want to do both.

Soundly abuse them until they play a couple of good games, and then declare them great.

See Sissoko and Iaquinta.

Except that most members on this forum express their disgust at each transfer and apologize afterwards.

    See Sissoko and Iaquinta.

Both Amauri and Mellberg are good signings, actually IMO Amauri is a great signing (as getting the player, not the deal itself). Knezevic is a decent depth, cant say much if one hasnt seen him much.

Unlike last year, its not all too bad so far. I cant for the love of me wait to see Xabi in our colours. Your job as a papa mod should include slapping the shit out of anyone being remotely negative about this classy mofo :)

I admit slamming Sissoko's transfer, but i did support Iaquinta when he joined.Im not really in favour of Stankovic's move, but if he did come here,i hope that he changes my opinion of him.Alonso is probably the one player that everyone here would be happy with, minus one or two dorks.

What i think Andy is basically just trying to say is that he thinks the transfer is stupid because it brings unnecessary depth rather than starting XI quality. Which he is in my opinion right for, if we were going to sign Dario and a quality player then whatever, that is fine, but to sign Dario (another CB) rather than say a LB or a really quality partner for Chiellini is not the best possible move. It also kind of depends on how people on here rate Mellberg, if you are like our board, and think he is complete class for years to come as it seems they believe, then you would be happy, if not, then your probably wondering why we could not have singed a more quality player. However, i wish Dario all the best, and he has had some good performances as of late, i have no problem at all with him joining Juve, but i would have again prefered a defender in a position we need both quality and depth in, i.e LB.

    Indeed, good call.

Just like Iaquinta was labeled worse than Zalayeta?
Name one reason this guy is a good signing. And don't tell me "depth" because that's tosh.
