well, u can really compare a mac to a car...
it's like a bmw, mercedes, porsche, jaguar...
they're more expensive, but are a lot better than pcs.... and their live-expection is way higher...

i think "lada" is the right brand to compare a pc with...
i know somebody who had a lada once... cheap like a pc, but it even rained into the car and many deffects occured.... ;-)
