But they never had the technology to destroy themselves before, they will in the next 50 years maybe even sooner, and when that happens bye bye Africa

Your view on women isn't exactly a way forward.

Fuck off man. I have been vastly misunderstood. Bunch of easy "laberers". I don't blame them, it's easier that way... categorize people, "oh here's a homoophobic women hater, this one's a racist, that's one's that, blah blah"

Whatevs... The world would be boring as hell without women and their unpredictability... I love 'em, my hatred is towards the obvious hypocrisy of some feminist ideas.

Because it seems as if society is just becoming more and more selfish. Everyone is just to gain personal satisfaction and they think that happiness can be found in material possessions and sex or whatever. Just an overall decrease in morals to the point where we're probably gonna kill out each other one way or another.

Yes but there was a much larger jump between the end of the 19th and the end of the 20th centuries as compared to any other two back to back. The fact our population growth has gone out of control is proof
That's how a logarithmic scale works, though. In your own frame, the incremental leaps to the next century compared to the last seem similar.

I mean -- the dizzying pace of technology has been postulated for centuries. Martin Heidegger did a pretty decent job capturing this over half a century ago:

    I remember that. ;)

You say that but is not the issue the technology available as opposed to humans, humans have always been like this.

No, individualistic. More people do charities now.
In the developed places people started looking into themselves instead of just trying to fit in with everyone. They might appear more self-possessed. But I think it's better than the whole "Our house is better that theirs" thing we had before. Now it's "our house is like this, and theirs is like that. Both have their own thing going for them. Nice."

I think it's worse now, even as compared to 10 years ago I see a big difference in people. Maybe what I saw 10 years ago was just the view of an innocent child, but I really think that people were a lot more caring back then. Yeah technology is advancing, but those who create it generally want one thing anyway, profit.

A lot of people donate to charitites out of guilt though, not even thinking about whether what they give actually reaches the ones in need.

Selfish in that people the most important thing is financial gain and it doesn't really matter how it's done, the point is to get a lot and get it quickly.

Lol, I hope this turn into an argument though, I'm so tired right now.
