even if we are to progress in the way you described how does that contradict "hopefully make CL"? secondly, we just lost arguably our best weapon this off-season, which begs a lot of questions that will only be answered once the season starts. And just like Roma might lose some of its stars so might we. Finally, when we finished 7th those 2 seasons, did every team that finished above us have better personnel?
