I thought Italy would show more passion, but I guess they just haven't got a good squad at the moment. I think they should have blooded some of their younger players, who may have given more to the cause and played with a little flair.

Other than them, Switzerland.
The Swiss? Hmm, well I never had any hope for them apart the fact they hosted the thing. It would have taken a South Korean coup for them to do any better IMO.

An example of Xavi’s excellent form in the tournament is his statistics for the final. He made 62 passes, with a 94% completion rate one of them the pass to torres.
These sort of statistics are meaningful IMO.

Says the guy who thinks Ballack is overrated.
he is overrated. IMO players who claim that they are superstars should be in top form in big occasions like euro but they were not (ballack and ronaldo).

So you're saying that Ballack claimed that he's a superstar while none of us here heard him say anything like that. Great. Why don't you just go and learn a thing or two about football, because football is more than supporting 300 teams all over the world. And C Ronaldo is not overrated either. He might not play that good in important games, and he's an arrogant prick, but a player who scores 40+ goals in one season is not overrated.

Great response, Einstein. I wouldn't have expected better from you anyway. Next time you try to say something about football, prepare to defend your opinion, not just say that I don't understand, because that proves again that you're a retard who doesn't know shit about football, just supports half of the clubs out there.

PS: Of course Ballack and C. Ronaldo are overrated, they don't play for Barca.

Yeah, they choked indeed. But I enjoyed watching them. Even Leeds managed to beat them.

But hey - Luis Enrique was the shit. Badass player.
Hell yeah! not to forget Rivaldo! I was a huge fan of his game, probably the first ever Brazilian player that I loved his game.

    you are a joke man.

To weigh in on the Xavi debate.

I find it laughable that people doubt his passing ability, there are few who can pass the ball better than him, i do agree though that overall he isnt a world class midfielder, his vision is overrated as well, he doesnt give those killer passes as good as a Fabregas or a Pirlo.

Imo he didnt deserve to win player of the tournament though, imo Senna, Ballack and Villa all had better tournaments.

I agree with what you said, I just want to know if you consider toni overated he scored many goals.

...and I don't care who you ask, I'm the only one that matters because I don't care about his nationality, I care about my team.

"Ohh, so why do you say he's overrated, Burke?"

OHH, I'M SO GLAD YOU ASKED!

3/4 the way through the season the German and British and Italian media started comparing him to Die Bomber Gerhard Mueller. I don't have a problem with comparisons, I have problems with comparisons drawing that he IS better, which many did.

So, upon reflection, upon history, knowledge, and COMMON FUCKING SENSE, I realized that...... ALL MEDIA OUTLETS are cunt-slayed bitch nigs without heat to backup their blades.

Toni: 15 goals in 30 appearances?

    Mueller: 68 goals in 63 +/- appearances.

What set me off is when they said that he (tonifuck) had scored close to Mueller in competition, comparing Toni's 39 goals in a season (across all competitions) to Mueller's seasons like this:

(these stats are correct, and they ONLY INCLUDE THE BUNDESLIGA)

    Apps to goals....
