Enron what do you think about Blackburn?this season?
Hard to say. They've lost a club legend in Friedel, lost a good winger in Bentley. But they still have a very potent one-two punch in McCarthy and Santa Cruz. I haven't really paid much attention to them in the transfer market so I don't know if they've made improvements. Still they always have a tough attitude and always play hard and physical which makes away matches a little scary.

I probably expect a midtable finish with a chance of top eight placement. With Santa Cruz and McCarthy they can be good in the League or FA Cup.
What about the spurs? Do you think they can possibly break trough the top 5 this year? They've done surprisingly well during this mercato, modric, do santos, that defender from Man city. Whats your take?

They have 1.2 quality forwards. Bentley, Modric, Giovani, and Dawson are new and promising. If they sell Berbatov and do not find a similar replacement, they are sunk. I don't know if a midfield of Jenas, Zokora, Huddlestone, etc can get the job done. I think they may run into some trouble with more physical teams. It really depends on the tactics of Ramos and the early results. If they start poorly they could run into trouble as they have a lot of youth. I think this season could go either way, they could do very well and break into the top 5 or even top 4. Or the could flounder and wind up digging scraps in the mid table. Whatever the case I think they will be a very interesting squad to watch this season and if Ramos uses his players wisely a very fun team in terms of "style".

In all honesty I think my team is most set up to have a "big fall" this season. I don't think I would mind to much if we finished 5th or 6th. No wait, I'd really hate that. The backlash from other fans would be unbearable. But maybe it would force the owners to get rid of Parry and sell the club to someone that has an idea about football.

I don't know why berbatov is willing to leave, the signings at the club should entice him to stay and lead this team. If he chooses to go its going to be an up hill battle for him at manu lagging behind Tevez and Rooney and dare I say Saha. It's a big gamble for him.

About your team, you'll manage a top 4 finish (4th place) like "always" but you guys should seriously start focusing on the premier league, manure are catching up and fast. It would be wise to start channeling some positive energy on that cup. I don't know how thing go at pool, maybe you guys have the cl as the primary goal this year as well, I wouldn't know.

Anyways, glad to have someone like you here. Brings some wise unbiased takes on the epl.

What do u think about Arshavin ?
I cant believe I forgot about his imminent transfer to the spurs. This player is amazing, but whether hell make it in the epl is a question mark. Come to think of it the spurs have a lot of technique and as we like to call it over here "creativity" but it seems like they will lack physical play especially in the middle.

Berbatov is exactly what Man Utd. needs....I don't care who Tottenham get in the transfer market, I wouldn't turn down Man Utd. for them!
You're right they do need a player with his capabilities, great technique with great finishing. But who will he replace on that pitch? Rooney tevez? That's what I was pondering, its not like they don't have established strikers already.

Come to think of it berba reminds me a lot of amauri, same technique.
