I thought the clubs had to have an agreement before you could talk to the player about a contract? Maybe we just needed their permission, I dunno.
tat is the "proper" way to do things, funnily enough it is not the way inter do business

i think a team can give you permission to talk to their player, that doesnt mean that a transfer will take place though
but i think rafa will be willing to sell alonso so he can fund the transfer of barry from a.villa
i say we should go for it

Ranieri ha chiesto 25 giocatori per puntare a scudetto e Champions League. Ecco chi resterà di sicuro: Buffon, Grygera, Zebina, Legrottaglie, Chiellini, Molinaro, Camoranesi, Salihamidzic, Sissoko, Cristiano Zanetti, Nedved, Del Piero e Trezeguet.
i think we can put mellberg and giovinco in that list and possible de ceglie

From what I understand Alonso's agent is/will be in Turin. We're offering Xabi 3.5m a season and if we can reach an agreement with him we'll then deal with Liverpool.

this intake of premiership players might give us a boost in europe compared to other non-english teams..and maybe give us an upperhand when we're put against one of arsenal, man utd, chelsea or liverpool

i think thats why gigli is more interested in the cl next year..it seems to be a strategy they are trying to employ to rake in the big cash from europes grandest competition...smart idea..lets pray they can implement it cause we'll be back in the big time (cash-wise) in no time if we get far in the CL next year

It doesn't really matter if they from EPL or not...it just has to be a quality signing and Xabi Alonso is a definite YES in that dept.
