I was purely comparing price tags if you had read the article I stated that "yes" they were not midfield players.

I am not saying Xabi is not good so dont get defensive but he is not worth 17 mil pounds you cannot justify it.

I know alot of Liverpool fans that were laughing at this talk.

Cigarini would be half the price of Xabi that was my quote I would rather develop a young player while playing the like of Marchiso etc:

Nedved HAS and CAN play in the middle and I was comparing him when he HAS played in the middle and this is exactly the same story for CAMO who even played their for Italy so you CAN and I WILL compare them.

Arteta would I believe again be cheaper and you are loosing nothing with quality and watch the game mate he has played in the middle MANY times and played awsome.

Bently again has played middle and is a rising star.

Cahill is cheap and does the job but my point is I would rather buy these players to give our youth a chance and try to find the next KAKA then spend alot of money on a guy that you know is OK but doesent have a great deal od scope to improve.

Mate I know alot abouth the game NOT everything and read when I compare cos it wasnt a direct player comaprison it was more money money and youth.

I disagree that Xabi is not worth 17m pounds. Again about Cigarini, sure he is a promising player and could develop into a great player, but what we need right now is IMMEDIATE quality, not some young player who could turn out to be world class later in his playing career, or not. If we want young players to develop them into world class players, then we should have a look at our Primavera, or just get back Claudio Marchisio.

Cahill is good and does the job, yes, I agree. But we don't need someone who can just do the job, we need an already proven player in the big stage, not someone who can just do the job. Nocerino can do the job too, but he's far from being someone who can step up and win the game for Juve, not even in Coppa Italia he could do that, let alone Serie A and more importantly, Champions League.

My point is that we need already proven players at the biggest stages, not some decent players who can 'do the job' and promising youngsters who can become the next Kaka, next Pirlo or next <insert a player's name here>.

No body is questioning he's quality here, the biggest issue here is he's price.....20 million euros is pretty high price guys, What pisses me off is that i feel like other teams r taking advantage over our "inexperienced" managers. When sissoko struggled with liverpool and couldn't find a place for him in the starting 11 they still sold him for 13 million euros (they bought him for 6.5 million euros when he was a very promising youngster coming from valencia), i know that sissoko performed great with us but still they've managed to make 100% profit from selling him even though they don't need him anymore.....I just hope that we won't get robbed in alonso's deal this summer.......

Man you are obsessed with profit :faq: What do you suggest, who we should sign, what player will play good for us for next than yrs, and than we gonna sell him and make profit?

And pls. do not mention again Aguero, Modric etc. Market is not full of those kind of players. Even Aguero would cost too much. And like someone said we need already proven player, who will bring our game to a next level not a promising player who will most of the time suck (read be loaned or smth. like that) until he matures.

And you mentioned Zidane, that was excellent business, but we sold him when he was turning 30 not 27, and still he was good aquistion to Real and played good for them.

you all want a world class CB, CM, or AMC as do I. Let me know when you find an already proven world class player that is 'inexpensive'. The board is going to have to splurge on a player for one of these positions so you might as well get ready for it...we need it.

When are you guys going to learn that you need to pay to play, and if it means shelling out 20 million euros or whatever the price may be for a player who will take us to the next level, then so be it. stop being Jewish.

i didnt know a religion was also a race.

but lets not delve into my beliefs and keep this to football.
calling someone a jew with those connotations is eth same as calling someone "paki" or "chink" which i have already asked people who i like a lot to stop saying.

basically it only takes one person to be offended for it to become a problem, joke or not. i am just trying to keep the peace
