I can’t believe how overpriced EPL players are. This guy is hardly a regular at Liverpool and we are going to offer 17 mil pounds, I doubt it!
Our board may be stupid (or Secco) but not that dumb.
If you want to look at quality EPL players that cost that much look no further then Richards (Man City) and Lescott (Everton).
Yes I know there not midfielders but they are both WAY better players WAY better!!!
We have to look at players like Cigarini he is a good player and Parma getting relegated could be a great buy.

No worries mate. I have seen Cahill play many times. He always scores and plays awesome against all the big teams and his tough ohh yeah I forgot to mention he runs too!

Juventus In Chase For Liverpool's Spanish Midfielder Xabi Alonso - Juve Make Move After Flamini Decides To Join AC Milan
Italian Serie A side Juventus have confirmed an interest in signing Liverpool’s Spanish midfielder Xabi Alonso.
26-year-old Alonso has been strongly linked with a move to the Italian giants since the end of the this season.
It has been reported that the two clubs had been holding talks regarding a transfer move, with Liverpool rumoured to be asking for offers in the region of £14million (approx €17.5million) for the Spanish international midfielder.
Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco revealed that the club were chasing Arsenal’s Mathieu Flamini, but decided to make a move for Alonso after Flamini decided to join AC Milan on a free transfer this summer.
Secco, speaking to Tuttusport, said: "Xabi is better than Flamini.
"He's [Flamini] a good player, but with the salary he wanted he would have unbalanced our situation.
"The Spaniard, instead, has characteristics that are closer to what we want."
Alonso has failed to retain a consistent first-team place with the Reds this season and may well decide on a move to Serie A in the summer.

Xabi Alonso hardly a regular at Liverpool? Are you sure there isn't another club called Liverpool too? And how can Richards and Lescott be better than Xabi when they play in DIFFERENT positions. That's like saying Buffon is miles better than Xabi although they play in different positions.
