I am a fan of MOntolivo. But lets get real, Viola fans will tell you the same, he has been a dissapointing for them big time in Serie A. Only been great in the Uefa cup (been stellar), and really mediocre in the league except recent form. He needs to prove himself more, not that I would ever say no to signing him. But Alonso is defenitely better (he IS Pools midfield, is what maks them tick, has considerable impact on their basic play), and Aquilani despite the injury issues has been more of an impact player.

Everyone in Viola's midfield (Donadel being the best), Kuzmanovic included, has been better then him and carried their team more. Montolivo despite being a special talent, has not had a good season, update yourselves if you say he has. He was chosen Italy's best young player last season, and this season he hasnt grown more or shown more as he should.

Untrue!

Montolivo really confirmed himself this season. If I was to make a best 11 of Serie A this season, he'd surely be included in my second attempt. Montolivo actually finally did have a good season. He was pretty mediocre(well maybe not mediocre, but extremely hot and and cold) last season, but a guaranteed quality for ze Purple ones this season.

bah, you caught one of Lyons worst games this season, one of Benzema's worst games if not the worst too. Should've watched the Caen Lyon match the week before, that match was absolute class :drool:

i dont know much about the second half of the season, but i watched plenty Fiorentina games before the winter break, and tbh Montolivo was always dissapointing, even in the few matches i caught recently, Kuzmanovic has been more impressive imo.

You would be surprsied how many matches I watched. I don't need Fiorentina fans to tell me how good he was. I have my own eyes. I stand by my opinion.

Well, this may well be the 1st time I disagree with you. Maybe you could say he had a pretty good half season but not more.

I can see us bringing also an LM,especially if Neddy retires...i feel he'll stay.
For ST:we all know already it's gonna be Amauri.
CM:Xabi Alonso!is their prime target!no one else mentioned.
LB:Grosso,Evra,Taiwo mentioned,as Evra the prime target!

If can get an LM(shweni,quaresma,Mancini or whoever) as well, i think we'll have a very good squad next term.
