No. Ranieri only just said that the reason why he choose Poulsen instead of Xabi, was that he thought Xabi was slow. And if you read the whole article, you would know that Xabi replied:

“I will never be the fastest player in a team, but I have other qualities that are more important for my role on the field.
I haven't read an article completely. Ever. :rolleyes:

He said all that in an interview at the beginning of the season when a reporter asked what he thought about Ranieri calling him slow.

It's a recycled article. Perhaps even a mix and match of a couple. It's not uncommon for that to happen as we near the transfer window.

My point is don't take it too seriously.

He's one of the biggest chokers I've ever seen.

As you know, I love playmakers, when I play I try to be one, a la Xavi and such, but I don't even like watching Riquelme play because it pisses me off he has such a fanbase when he chokes it up all the time. Couldn't even cut it in Barca.
