You see that a lot in the Italian media. They got titles like this almost everyday:
JUVE BEFFATA : insert player name to insert club name
Beffata means got screwed basically.
And compare this with the way the media treats Milan.
All the best players are dying to play for Milan according to the media. If the journalist asks the player if he'd like to play for Milan and the player gives a diplomatic answer how Milan are one of the biggest teams in Europe the media immediately translates that as "I'd kill to play for Milan and only Milan".
Even though Milan are going to play UEFA Cup in Kazakhstan, even if they're buying average players or washed up 35 years old ex-stars, all the newspapers still link with Milan all the best players in the world.
On the other side, even though we're linked to average players mostly, the media's trying to make it look as if we stand no chance to buy even these players.
You remember the situation with Amauri ? In every fucking way they tried to make it look as the deal is destined to fail and how Milan are actually the team he wants.
I know Berlusconi owns most of the media, but this is annoying.
