Let's imagine that Juve played home matches in whatever city or town you live in, and Allianz Stadium was located there. You had season tickets to see all the home games (Serie A, Coppa Italia, Champions League). Apparently season tickets this year cost 529 euros and up, but let's say this price was no issue for you.

Here comes the tricky part. You still have the same life you have now. Whether you're a student, working, retired, that doesn't change. Same life, same family, same job (if you're working), same responsibilities etc. Do you think that it would be easy to fit watching every game at the stadium into your life? Don't just think about how long the match lasts. You also have to get there and get back. Driving in traffic, or riding crowded public transport. Picture that before you answer.

What about those family birthday parties or other events. Business trips. Vacations. Would you still make it to every game?

i'd go to the stadium to watch every home game

my buddy has a season ticket lol. he's hungarian, living far from torino, still buys the season ticket and he told me a few years ago that he always sells his seat every time he can't attend the game. i bet locals do the same when they miss a home game

I would definitely do it. Take vacation where necessary. Make it a family outing. Eat lunch/dinner out & go to the stadium.

Why not. Most of the games weekend games. Watch them regularly as heck on tv for 31 years, why not if had local access.


The tricky part is weekday games, clashing with either late evening work hours, or early wake up work hours etc.

I did see Juve for the first time in my life this summer tho, they came to Philly for the club World Cup. It was fun, the Moroccan fans made it a very memorable moment.

Planning to go to Turin to watch a home game sometime in the next couple years.

No I wouldn't. I had a season ticket for my local team (Coventry) for 18 years as a boy and man but at some point I decided not to and just go to random games. I've ended up not going to the majority of games ever since. Midweek games are an absolute slog and not worth it, imo. You fill your weekends with other things. Some fans love going to every game for the full experience - drinks, banter and all the rest, but I'd had my fill of it by 30 or so. Life moves on.

I still go to a handful of Cov games per season and try to get to a couple of Juve games if I can, just less enthusiastic for it when the team isn't competitive. I'm not as good a fan as some people and I'm fine with that, people should always do what they want with their life rather than feel obliged to do something.

I wouldn't be able to go most Saturdays because of hockey.

Last season I went to a couple of matches, on the off chance I had a couple of weekends off from it.

Luckily I don't have kids and I'm unmarried so I'm pretty much free to do whatever I want (within moral reason ofc)

Would I give up hockey for Juve? right now? no not whilst I'm competing at the level I am at right now coming off the back of my first European championship and with a world cup spot at stake next year for me which was always a dream of mine.

4 or 5 years ago however, or competing at some dog shit level of hockey then yeah I'd watch Juve every week, it's hard enough for me to miss matches like the inter game last weekend due to other commitments.

I would watch important games, since I live in a metropolis, commuting around is a bit difficult and metro at times gets quite crowded. The matches against Inter, Napoli, Milan, Lazio and Roma.

I'd see as many as I could, especially the big games, maybe like 50% of them. Depends on the time too, would be a good way to spend a Saturday evening.

I like the idea of watching every match. Would I be able to fit it in the regular life that I have nowadays? Nope. Too many things, life got quite busy. I doubt I'd be able to watch more than 50-60% of the matches.

I had a season ticket in 2007 and went to 17 games. Lived in London at the time and flights were regularly less than a tenner, so was great. Explains why I have strange attachment to the Olimpico Di Torino, especially after the cold days at the Delle Alpi.

Wouldn’t do it now with kids, the relative cost of everything and the atmosphere at the stadium having gradually become worse year on year in my opinion.

I’m happier still playing grassroots league football on Saturdays as my regular commitment, still hanging on averaging about 24 games a season.

Part of the reason I asked is because this season I have the option to watch all the matches online, and it doesn't even cost that much for a streaming subscription. Despite my attachment to Juve I've never done this before.

It's a lot more convenient nowadays when you can watch on demand. So I decided to try something new. I went to the gym and streamed the first half of the Inter match while I was on the stair climber machine. It was both more fun and gave me more energy to keep going.

I don't know if I'll stick it the whole season but we'll see.
