I highly doubt Russia has destroyed any true stockpile of weaponry. The United States has provided Russia with millions to destroy their warheads, yet at the same time Moscow says they're broke while they have been building a "secret" underground military base that supposedly costs about a trillion dollars. This underground fortress is so huge it's been under construction since about 1990 and it's still not finished yet.

Putin and the like say they're dangerously broke, yet have enough to build a mysterious base worth billions. Go figure.
not sure about an underground military base, but I know the rest is true

Understand one thing about Putin, he is former KGB, and there are no doubts that he would like things to be as they were 30 years ago in the Soviet Union.

I predict that he will begin annexing the smaller countries that border Russia in the next few years

Just you wait, Eazy -- the two new Belgiums will be the first countries in the world that both carry "freshness dates".

    you predict correctly

this georgia thing could be a catalyst, it looks like Russia are being cunts again regardless of whether they are Soviet or not. Its not the system, its the people running it.

    Putin is a wanker:melayyanandmessi:

i think they do... because they have the bombs. My question is, why? They have a valuable resource (oil) which is running their economy. They're in the EU. They have a democracy (which won't work with evil dictators like Putin).
Why would you even bother trying to overtake the world. The imperialist age was 108 years ago.

    See. Realists > liberals

I like how those who oppose Putin said "this is the problem when you do not dare put the KGB on trial ...." I totally agree with Vin on Putin.

I don't know. Is it better to have one superpower that can control the rest of the world or a bipolar one which may result in proxy wars and such but gives other countries the option to choose between the two?
