There are some funny choices :)

F.e , according to Uganda's,Maldive's, Tanzania's and Tonga's captains Steven Gerrard was the player of the year, according to Turkish captain Hakan Sukur, it was Nesta who was the best in 2006. According to Malasiya's captain Wayne Rooney was the best one, and the best one comes from Laos NT Captain, who thinks Luis Figo was above everyone else.
Cannavaro also had an interesting choice, picking Thuram as the best player of year 2006 :)

Coaches also had strange choices. French coach Domenech thinks Petr Chech was the best player in 2006 !!!
