Can't say I'm too concerned about the game Vs the Czechs, I was under no illusion we would win the WC. Once agian we come up short, or will come up short, all for a variety of reasons.

The german ref was a joke today, he whisteld everytime a brazilan player was touched...

BUT Italy should go to the next round first
there is nothing funny about that :depressed

italy should play for second position, loosing to brasil is not embarrassing :p

actually I don´t think that Italy will win the WC. the first 20 minutes yesterday showed that. a top team should be able to controll the opponent. and italy was not able to controll a team like the USA, what would happen against Argentina or germany..

a team that messes up in the first round and gets into its best in the knockout phases is probably more well equipped to win the world cup than a team that blows everyone away in the first round.you sorta end up peaking too early that way.so in a way im glad that italy arent going all smooth.but yes, they need to qualify for the 2nd round first.

that is right, but nothing has changed in the Italian side from tactical point of view. yesterday I saw a lot of things that remembered me of the WC 2002. yesterday the team did not worked as a unit. they just gave the ball to the forowards and hoped they will do something with it.
I hope offcourse that I am wrong and yesterdays match was only a bad day.
