It' over.

Beautiful game by the Elephants, they would have deserved better. But Argentina were too experienced to give their 2-0 away.

Drogba scored the first ever goal for ICoast and it seems that everything can still happen in this group. Eboué, Touré and the others aren't out yet.

The Ivory Coast is still my surprise pick for the tournament... even if it's an uphill battle still in this group of death, they played well today. Nice pickup by DoggyBag and a few chances for a second.

it was a good game and i think the ivory coast deserved better, they just couldn't finish. I now think they will beat the netherlands and they will be S&M to qualify for the next round.

Some good technical football from argentina, Congratz to Argies and Hope they progress further than their previous tournament. The two goals certainly helped there nerves, proberly not their best football but nevertheless the best will come. Ivory coast like the rest of underdogs have nothing to lose as always therefore running up and showing your african pace against a technically skillful side certainly didnt help them. Pekerman didnt use Tevez at all today, and to be honest his subs were kind of awful. Lucho was making a mess of things and Palacio spreaded out on the left most of the time when in reality he should be more towards the centre.

well yeah, but serbia is not a bad team, they had a good defensive record in the qualification period. serbia might get a draw from argentina imo. they play physically stronger and might have more players who can score. i am not saying ivory is a one man (drogba) team, but just that serbia-montenegro have more players with good shot on goal, and argentina is not very strong defensively.

Yes but I think that they have very bad situation and the atmosphere in the team. The qualification period ended long time ago,and now it is a different situation, although they have a very strong defence, and not so bad attack, their atmosphere is destroyed and colapsed.

And one more thing,S&M represent the only country at the tournament with 22 players instead of 23...that is because Vucinic was injured and FIFA didn't allow them to substitute a player.

because of those political reasons?? well yeah i agree, it might be. but well in that case italy has no chanse in the world cup either, considering the scandals, still we read fans saying that italy will unite more with this scandal, they will be stronger and etc.

Wrong, the Serbian head coach chose not to replace him.

    Yes because of that!

It is a different thing with Italy,I meen the country was not separated before the start of the WC,although I'm afraid about the scandal situation as well.

This thing with S&M is totally different and I will tell you another note, the country doesn't have a national hymn at the moment...so we will see tomorrow what it's gonna be Hej Sloveni(Hey Slavs) hymn or Boze pravde(God ,justice) hymn....the situation in the country is changing very very fast, and the players really don't have nothing to play for,no country,no flag,no hymn...

man, in that case serbia-montenegro are gona end up last in this group. and thats kind of sad actually, for political reasons caused by others, after a succesfull qualification period.

Yes and then they decided it wasn't a good idea and the dude went home. It has nothing to do with FIFA

Yes,that was a scandal...he went home and FIFA didn't allow them to make another change.

The media put him(the player) under the pressure, just as the head coach, for the stupid things:

1-Dusan Petkovic is his son ,so they said it was not a deserved role

2-Vucinic is Montenegrin and this guy is not
