I question Ronaldo’s starting role, but in a game like this with a lack of group motion, individual brilliance matters more. Felix is clumsy, but I do like that he’s playing a bit of a trickster role. Neves looks lost. Bernardo and Fernandes aren’t involved any.
Ghana’s better strategy would be to use Portugal’s lack of urgency against them. Let them screw around with static plays in the final third. Then surprise them with an opportunistic corner.
A dull match for neutrals though.
