Whining and bitching about Italy not being there when they can't beat minnow teams in their group to qualify

Maybe 4 time world cup winners needs to join AFC to qualify for the world cup next time. ;)
Ofc it is their fault. But it doesnt negate the fact that there are a lot of shit teams at world cup that can barely kick a football. Whinning and bitching? Dude, just an observation. I barely care for national teams. ;)

Better that than this annoying ggggggggggggggooooooooooooooooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllllll tardation
Perfect example of how Fox in English announcers are morons…

John Strong, the lead announcer, going off on how Qatar has never qualified before for the World Cup and why this debut is important for them, even if just as the hosts, because this goes back to 1934.

Qatar did not even exist as an independent country until 1971

Shit teams have existed in every world cup since decades. This is nothing new. It's just that the host of the world cup happens to be a poor team just like South Africa in 2010.

Italy not being there has nothing to do with it. Why bash countries that actually regularly qualify for the world cup just because a big team misses out?

Well thats my point, too many crappy teams get opportunity to get to the world stage because their competitors are even worse.
And this is imo far worse than South Africa. They might be the worst team ever to have participated. I tuned in for bizzare curiosity since few of my buddies bet on Qatar here and I wanted to see if there will be any contraversy. Foolish and waste of time.

Well what's the point of having a world cup then?

How are you giving a chance for other football federations to grow if you have a Europe/South American exclusive world cup?

I guess to sell the hosting to the highest bidder ;)

They cant, World Cup will always be dominated by Europeans and South Americans with occasional African team going a bit further. It is what it is. Im sure the US national team could have been great if football isnt behind basketball, hockey and baseball so the most talented kids will practice those sports. There are plenty of reasons why gulf countries will always be fodders despite the obscene amount of money at their disposal but I will stick to a few, small gene pool and climate. Its almost December and daily temperatures in gulf countries reach 30s. How can you practice high intensity outdoors sport like football in those kind of conditions.
