Croatia was tactically perfect and technically excellent. But that is only enough to contain Brazil, not to hurt them. Without quality attackers, the most Croatia can hope for is 0:0, and that won't happen either once legs become tired and CRO subs will prove not good enough.
This is still a 2:0 win for Brazil.
The longer it drags on, the more nervous Brazil gets. They started off great and already looked a whole lot worse by the end of the half. If we look at the game against Belgium though, the truth is Croatia didn't really manage to hold off an out of form Belgium and Lukaku missed three sitters. If Brazil remain patient, I still think they will advance.

I see two scenarios. One Brazil scores and that opens up the game in a way that’s gonna favor Brazil to score one or two more in quick succession or Croatia holds on to this result and takes it to extra time which will then give them the upper hand. On Penaldos I think Croatia would go through.

I wish, but I just don't see this going to penalties. Let me remind you that this old CRO team already played extra time against Japan.
If Croatia scores first, I can see a 1:1, but this toothless Croatia will not score. Brazil will, and then, depending on the timing of their first goal, they will score one or two more.

On another note, it's such a shame that Croatia's midfield isn't in France's or England's team. Such a cool midfield deserves much more :(

What you miss most is a solid striker. Both to hold the ball and to score.
