Many smaller teams are afraid to come out and play so we have to laud them for their approach. Obviously they lack quality especially at the back but I hope they build on this instead of reverting to a different style in the hope of getting 'results'.

I hope so too, but Canada's and Costa Rica's performance/result today will make that harder. Canada played without fear and tried to attack, but they were destroyed by a superior team. Costa Rica played with 9 defensive players and didn't even hope for anything more than 0:0, yet they won.

Your Man Shaft are going to get Man Shafted by the Spanish tonight - at least I hope they do.

Fuck Zee Krauts, a vastly overrated team with no proper attackers (the gopher looking Jew aka Havertz doesn't count as one, and Gnabry has been about as effective as my step grandmother this year), and a suspect defense. The only area where you actually excel is midfield - the rest of the team is nothing to right home about.

Well the main goal in football is to get results. If you face superior team, going out to attack can lead to a disaster, like we have seen today. Its easier to defend and hit on breaks. Their only goal came from a well executed counter-attack.
