Less than 2 years ago he missed a sitter of all sitters to qualify for KO of Copa America and was booed and insulted next home game for Uruguay, absolute low. Today he's their hero.

The commentators here cant stop praising him for his performance in every game. Maybe he has scored 0 goals but out of the 7 goals from Croatia, he was directly responsible for 3 of them.
