Scotland, Norway, Slovenija....yeah, I know

:undecide:
IMO the only team who could cause real difficulties for Italy is Norway.

Scotland:yuck:

I, for one, am a person who learns to never underestimate a team. Scotland, Slovenia and Norway all have good players respectively. In football, anything can happen.

 scary groupings!
a lot of scary encounters: specially for political reasons.

Czech Rep. and Holland AGAAAAAIN!! :stress: (it should be a default by now.... before any ball picking from pots, the official should just pickup holland and the czech rep. and put them in the same pot!! )

Greece - Turkey \
Bosnia - Serbia
N. Ireland - England

Your probably right Fred...

but Slovenia are more than capable of influencing the group; on their day they can play with the big boys comfortably although I understand their main forward is retiring;

as for Scotland....were still licking our wounds from the Netherlands:redface:

Slovenia's NT will undergo a few changes, since our captain Miran Pavlin and our best and most known player Zlatko Zahovič retired from internationl duty. We don't even know if we'll keep the current coach, since there's some talk about Srečko Katanec coming back (he lead us to EU00 and WC02) :undecide: Anyway, the point is, that it's not looking all that rosy and I fear that we might not do all that good this time.

That said, on a good day we can be quite a trouble. We showed it many times, one of them being when we beat Italy last year  :strong: We actually have quite a good record against them :D

say one more bad thing about scotland an we're gonna have a personal meeting.

it's the same scotland who defeated holland 1-0. they lost after that but group qualifiers are different story. but italy will qualify, they'll lose some points as always but they will succeed.

majed, in euro2000 quals belarus managed two 0-0 draws agaisnt italy.

Hey Fliakis...how's things man?:D

Don't get caught up in petty arguments... chill and smile...all we can do is wait and see what happens on the pitch...it's only footie:cool:

The future looks good for Scotland...the youngsters are very promising...now that the qualification for Euro 04 is over I have to say that I haven't been this positive about the NT for years. I think in 2005-6 we will have a pretty good team again:fero:

The days of the "Football Superpowers" such as Italy having easy games against unfancied, unrated opposition is over I think...most games now, no matter who plays, are pretty close...it's unusual to get a 5-0 or 6-0 now, unless your Scotland against The Netherlands that is hehe:dontcare::frown:

mmm...... i just hope that Italy realises that. Sometimes i think they play like they are underestimating people.
