Why we acting like we weren't broke and couldn't afford him?

He was retiring until Barca came for him. His salary demands couldn't have been high, and there is no transfer fee involved in extending him. He is not a great keeper, and Barca dominated for years with Valdez in goal. But given how bad our squad is, its shocking that we spent so much on 2 GK when there were much more pressing areas that needed addressing.
