He supposedly opened up to it, but only when the saudi’s already started looking elsewhere because of his initial hesitations, all in all it is safe to assume that Tek is probably leaning towards staying in Europe but is also very much aware that he won’t get even half of what he is earning now.

I am assuming that we will eventually just end up covering half of his salary to send him elsewhere or pay him off via mutual consent termination.

Because he is prone to mistakes and absurdly overpaid(his wages alone covers for the salary of three DiGregorio’s), also would still need to be replaced next year anyway, and the new guy is supposed to be better and on an upwards trajectory with his career so there is some solid reasoning behind it.

While it might look reckless now it is worth mentioning we got ripped off by the Saudi’s who were supposed to even give us a transfer fee on top of getting his wages off our books, but Tek’s hesitation got them to rethink, along with rumors last season about him refusing to reduce his wages despite the difficult financial situation at the club, so yeah, i wish him to just fuck off the sooner the better with his bs loyalty talk, it’s all about the money and comfort for him.
