Di Marzio says Arsenal is looking to get Vucinic. First offer would be a loan deal and it's said he responded negatively about it.

They will meet on monday and it seems only a 12 million permanent transfer deal would interest Juventus.

Summing up some strong rumours right now:

- Lazio offering around 1.5M for loan of Quags + obligation to buy for 5M in June;

- De Ceglie and Motta to Genoa;

- Possible exchange between Peluso-Armero;

- Premier League clubs trying to get Vucinic on a loan, without any obligation to buy.

I believe we would settle for 10m.

Honestly, of Giovinco, Vucinic and Quags, all of them ending contracts in 2015, Quags is the only one I'd keep till the end, if he wants to.

6.5M for Quags actually is reasonable, 'cause he barely plays, will be 31 now, and has only 1 and half of contract left. He's a very talented player, but all these circunstances make it a low price.

If he wants to leave, I'd make the deal. If he doesn't, I'd keep him till June 2015. He's a good player to have in the squad.

De Ceglie and Motta to Genoa would be beautiful, even if it's a free loan with no obligation to buy, with part of salaries paid by Juve. Marotta did the stupid thing of renewing these guys contracts (and spending money for Motta, which is worse) - we don't know if it was Conte's wish or not. But any kind of offloading is good right now, specially to a Serie A midtable team.

Exchanging Peluso for Armero could be interesting. Both are very limited players, with different characteristics. Peluso barely plays, and one of the reasons is that he's already a defensive WLB (and it doesn't mean he's actually a good defensive player). Armero would offer a different alternative in the bench, since his only quality is his speed, and he is definitely more offensive than Asamoah. Would be a different alternative on the bench.

I might make that deal, if Conte is willing to, maybe for a simple loan exchange, and in June clubs will decide what to do.

Vucinic on a loan is not a good business. If he doesn't perform, he'll be stuck with us till 2015. He's the one who's gotta leave right now, since he's unhappy with his squad condition and still has some value. I'd try to sell him as hard as I can right now for 8/10M.

Selling Vucinic would be for stg around 10M, and I think it would only happen to Arabic/Russian/French oil clubs, or mid table Premier League teams. The problem is that I don't think he would accept any of these right now.

The ideal, to me, is to let Vucinic go right now, for 8/10M, play more Giovinco on EL and Copa, try to sell him in June, and keep Quags till the end of his contract.

But being realistic, I think that Vuci will not accept any offers from these clubs right now, and Juve won't accept any loan bids from decent clubs Vuci would accept to play. I think he will stick till June, and then Juve will loan him out for stg around 3M and that's it.

If Quags want to stay he will stay; if he wants to leave, he'll leave to Lazio this month.

And I'm afraid we'll be stuck with Giovinco till the end of his contract in 2015, when he'll leave for free.

-------------//-------------

Summing it up:

IMO the ideal would be to get 20M for both Vuci/Giovinco till September and keep Quags.

But what I think will happen is Vuci will leave on a loan of around 3M in june; Giovinco will be stuck with us till the end; Quags I don't know, it's up on him I guess.

I'm thinking we won't milk a lot of money for these guys.

I definitely don't see Arsenal offering 10M for a 30yr old inconsistent, effortless and often injured player, even though he's talented.

I could see Tottenham doing it though. Let's hope.

It's Arsenal we're talking about here so you never know. Panic buy and all.

Tottenham still got money left? IIRC They spent over 100mil on the last transfer window. And that was Bale's money, no?
