Bringing back Berardi to rot on the bench would be stupid, he's not ready yet.

Let him stay another year at Sassuolo or loan him to another club if they get relegated.
you could have said that for veratti when he was at pescara. But he moved at an age of 19 and look what he tuned out to be. I think 1 season at a lower club in serie a is enough with big talents like berardi, veratti, elsharawy.... Then trow them in first team squad (which would mean that wingers like menez will play less) and intergrate them in the team. I cant stand players getting shipped to like 5-6 diffrent clubs before they come.... Next thing u know they get injured and their career is over. (ie. Cassano)

bench: asamoah, marchisio, boakye, berardi, quags, peluso, bonucci, ogbonna, caceres, peluso, bonaventura, storari, runinho.
Why must we have two useless GK on the bench? Whoever will be in our first 11 is welcome but for the bench, we need to start giving our young talented players a chance to play. If not in the serie A, then give them chance in copa. I think the mixture of good players and youngsters, is recipe for better developing. We can try something like this:

GK: Leali, + one primavera gk
DEF: Ogbonna, Masi (we should sell Bonucci if we can get 15 - 20 mil.)
RB: Caceres
LB: Peluso (If we have the money for Coentrao or Crisito we should sell Peluso and replace him with Murru on the bench)
M: Marchisio, Asamoah, + one or two of Bouy, Appelt and Magnusson
F: Berardi, Boakye, Giovinco, Quagliarella (we should sell Vučinič if we can get 12 - 14 mil.)

In what alternate reality do you live

All these kids are better off on loan gaining precious playing time than rotting on our bench.

I'd like Juventus to use much more youth players and so on but let's be realistic, youngsters develop better playing regularly on loan than rotting on our bench.

Look at Marrone. He rot on our bench for two straight years and looked practically useless but now he's playing regularly at Sassuolo and looks decent.

I agree with you in some point. But I think that's Conte fault because he didn't give him a chance to play.

Depends on the player and the team you ship him to.

Have you ever played the game and had to switch teams? I have, it's not always great, you know.
Oh yes. I mean, if the youngster is good enough like Pogba at such a young age, than by all means we should keep him. However, Pogba came here with not a huge amount of pressure while if we brought Berardi in this summer, he'd have a huge amount of pressure, he'd be compared to Del Piero, etc.

That's a bad situation for a 19 year old to be in, unless he's a real phenomenon.

So the answer is to keep him in a team like Sassuolo until he's older?

What happens to the pressure once he arrives several years down the road? Does it magically disappear?

You know who, don't lie.

Look some other clubs in Europe and you will see how 19 or 20 years old players are getting their chances. I have nothing against loaning our players but if we do that we must loan them to a smaller serie A clubs and not some lower divisions.

storari and rubinho are acrually decent keepers and i would like to see leali loaned to a serie a team for a good 2 seasons and there he should be ready. If storari leaves then i see a older youth product to come in ie. Nocchi

Expectation is not necessarily a bad thing. Especially if the team can manage the player. You really want avoid having to completely rely on young players. You want to be able to bench them if the pressure becomes too much.

yes. we can use 2nd and 3rd GK spot for the 4 home grown players quota and save room at other positions...

Leali should be close to Superman and gain experience from him. He sure is not worse than Storari and Rubinho.
