I'd take Nani, just not for 10M + Vucinic, of course. A straight swap would be a fair deal to both teams really, I'd do it.
now that sounds better, straight swap would be ideal for us, maybe not for Utd since Nani is younger but that's not our business

Nani is really irregular and yeah on his day he's pure class. A bit of continuity would do him well tho.

No, I've said multiple times that I dislike Nani and he's inconsistent as hell. But, beggars can't be choosers.

We want/need wingers. We're operating on a low budget, Nani is the best we could get for such a price and Conte is great at bringing the best out in players. Put it all together and a Nani deal makes sense. Considering Vucinic is essentially our 3rd choice striker now and he's not getting any younger.

So we get Nani for 5-10M + Vucinic if possible, then we use our medium sized Summer transfer budget on an attempt to take Di Maria. We will of course sell some players on aswell to help ease the financial burden.

Roma enquired for De Ceglie, but Juve said no. -Tuttosport
Genoa, Sassuolo and Livorno interested for Peluso. -Tuttosport
Menez to Juve almost done deal. In few days contract might be signed, but he'll probably arrive in July for free. -Tuttosport

I just hope Menez won't be considered a permanent solution for the wing, but if this is indeed the case, I expect us to go guns blazing for one of Nani and DiMaria (if he falls under the 30m range) for the right.

How can you name Nani and Di Maria as solution of the same range? One is pretty much shit over the past few years while Di Maria is a WC winger. Two different classes of players, huge money difference between them.

I think all this swap nonsense is just media BS. I don't like Nani too, because he is injury prone and hot head. We must know our elimination from the CL is not helping our budget and we can't expect big signin in winter. What we could try to do is this!

Winter mercato:
- Menez (try to take him on loan or buy him for 3,5 - 4,5 mil.)
- Murru (buy his half for 2 - 3 mil. and leave him at Cagliari until the end of the season)
- Coentrao (try to take him on loan with option to buy at the end of the season)
- Try to sell : Motta, De Ceglie, Padoin, Isla and Vučinič
I think this is quite realistic mercato for winter. At the end of the season we should chose between Coentrao and Murru. If Coentrao was much better we should buy him or in case he disappoint us we could gamble with Murru.

For the summer mercato?
- Berardi (buy out the other half of contract)
- Murru (buy out the other half of contract)
- Griezmann (he is unrealistic target, but I think we will have weaker LW and he is my favorite player for that!)
- Try to sell: Storari, Rubinho, Ziegler, Peluso (if we buy Coentrao and Murru), Pepe and Quagliarella, + try to sell some co-ownership players who didn't impress us.

6 months loan so his contract expires? That would be Beppes climax. But I don't think P$G are retards

Why should we sell Quagliarella? He's our only striker appart from Tévez and Llorente (considering we sell Vucinic) And I still don't see any of them going to the bench. Tévez could be a free 'winger'. So that would leave us only with Fernando, what happens if he gets an injury? I don't think we should get Gabbiadini, Boakye or Zaza just now

It is kind of ironic. I dint mention them because I consider them to be in the same league as players. It is more due to the fact theyre the profile of players likely to be chased by Juve to plug a huge need gap, if this shift in formation has any relevance to it.

Depending on our moneyball strategy, I see us go for Nani, if the losses of the CL and end of season, don't allow for a big money deal, while I can see us go for DiMaria as the star signing next summer, if we have a bit of money to play with, and if Conte pushes for a deal. As long as he falls in the sub 30m category and we don't face wage hike competition from the likes of Chelsea, or PsG.

we all know he will at least try :beppe:

signing him up now for next season would be perfect imo.
IMO too. What do we have to loose? 3M is barely something nowadays. 6 months so he understands Conte's philosophy and see what he can give us so we will have a clearer summer mercatto.
