Kolarov wouldn't allow us to switch to anything either. He would most definitely be played in the 3-5-2. But like I said, i'm not totally against it because Asa at CM is twice the player he is as opposed to playing as a LWB
A plan B of a far from match fit Pepe and a young, inexperienced De Bruyne sounds quite drastically worse than our current 3-5-2
If we are invested in moving to another system then we need to invest properly. We can't be throwing out these relative nobodies and expecting the team to improve.
As much as I dislike 3-5-2, our 3-5-2 would definitely be much better than a 4-3-3 with makeshift, injured or mid-table Italian Wingers. That's not an improvement at all in my eyes.

Obviously we would have to spend big. However if Marotta is going to continue to spend 18m on back up cms and Conte claims he doesnt have the players to play a 4-3-3 how will Conte play a different formation without getting average players. If we were to switch to a 4-2-3-1 we have enough cms at this point to play that formation. What we are missing is a lb, and two wide men. If pepe gets fit then he can play in that position so we would still need 2 one as a back up and one as a starter. I dont like this formation because it would limit vidal from pushing forward
If we were to play a 4-3-3 we still dont need any cms because we have pirlo, pogba, marchisio, vidal, asa, and padoin. 6 players for 3 spots. For this formation though we would have to play Tevez in a role he doesn't like and we need a lb and a winger.

I would personally go with this one because if needed we could slot asa as a lb which I would prefer if he played as a back up cm. We also have deceglie and peluso( I wouldnt let them play there though). Peluso however is a good back up. To me this looks like the most realistic formation we could play given we would only need to purchase 2 players. However this formation would still cost alot. you would need a player like Mata inorder to even change to this formation.
I think Juve will continue with the crap system being the 3-5-2. Life after pirlo will be playing with a trequartista instead of a regista so something along the lines of a 3-4-1-2 like how hamsik played under Mazzari.
In my opinion what Juve need are wingers. Juve play alot of crosses and half the time they dont even reach their man.

Cerci scored all his goals this season playing as a Striker. He is not good.

So he would be a defensive liability as a lb not as a lwb? lwb need to cover more field. I've seen Kolarov play as a lwb under mancini and he played as a lw and would never track back. He wouldnt be an upgrade if he were to be played as a lwb

Actually, that team wouldnt be able to string 1 attack togheter, cause of the lack of it !

Asamoah can be the LB, but our cm's in inferior roles, and tevez away from the center is why we wont do it
Not neccecarely. CAM/trequartista are mad expensive. You could put marchisio there, and get a filler cam to make up for the time beeing.
Its better to play the 41311RED© instead

Doesnt remove the price we'd have to eventually pay, or the loan fee itself, or the added wages.
We could do it, and move the payment to next financial year like that, but i'd would have to be a badass buyout fee if we'd do it
