He sure is a cunt, not denying that. I just think it would be silly to pass up on him if we had the chance to sign him. But we probably won't, so....

Balotelli do.not.want.

The guy thinks the world owes him something, very poor attitude, and flops everywhere.

Ogbonna as a LB could very well work.

He may have had a shaky start to the Real Madrid match but he settled down later on.

Ogbonna has been solid as a LB when used there before.

Sell Bonucci. Make Ogbonna primary back up CB. Buy real LB. Ogbonna offers nothing in attack.
I see you just woke up and didnt read the forum for a week. Good. I'll brief you.

We are talking about a 4-2-3-1 formation. A formation that has double wing coverage with workhorse wingers. Such formation does not require attacking fullbacks. No the only value of the fullbacks is quite simply the defensive strenght. Better defence makes better player for the position.

For this reason, Ogbonna and even chiellini would be massive there. Ogbonna has the added value that he can move up behind his winger, and is a trustworthy lay-back target, as he has good control and passing for a defender.

People need to start realising that juventus is a team of defensive might, aggression, pressing, but mostly dislocating opponent tactics and forcing them on our own.

That doesnt work with 7 offensive players.

Let me give you a blueprint of an ideal, juventus. Workhorse wingers are impossible to fund, but everyone knows their style

I don't really bother about systems. It's the players that make it, imo. Wouldn't it be lovely to have a diamond midfield of Vidal-Verratti-Pogba-Marchisio with Licht and Marcelo running the flanks?
Meh.

I'd probably sooner skip Verratti and play a 4-3-3 with Vidal-Pogba-Marchisio.

4-3-1-2 with offensive fullbacks :agree:

Yes, Zach, I know signing the required players for that won't be realistic.
Not a fan of offensive fullbacks tbh.

Oh dont worry, my 4-2-3-1 with sanchez and lavezzi isnt realistic eighter. Would need like what 70 mil or so at the bare minimum and then we havent even started on the wages

Mark, that midfield, doesnt the team lacks a bit creativity like that ? Unless its a 4-3-1-2 ?
