Well defensive wingers is what asamoah and licht are now. Indeed locking down the lane and pusing up

I named it as example in wich a name can describe so much.

Workhorse wingers, in a 4-2-3-1 then, has this same thing going for it

Malaga could be inclined to sell Cavallero as they have financial problems. He would be a good temporary solution as Leali is not ready. I'd try sign Coentrão for ~15 million euros as he's barely playing at the moment. I'd sign Menez on a free transfer as his contract expires in June and he's not playing for PSG.

Tevez would have a free role in this formation, so he wouldn't have a fixed position as he is better in the center than out wide. I'd be looking to bring Berardi back when he's ready, so within the next two years most likely. Ogbonna would rotate with Barzagli and Chiellini.

This is quite realistic and not that expensive. That midfield trio would be very hard to break.

I am a fan of fullbacks that overlap the wingers. In our formation I think it would be best if we have fullbacks who can lock down the lane and at the same time be able to push going forward. Like Licht and Caceres and Ogbonna like others said can be used as a lb. I was actually impressed by Ogbonna in that role anyway. I think If we could get a player like Lavezzi then we will be fine. Regarding the dm situation it will probably be vidal and pogba and they will take turns pushing forward. I would assume that Vidal would get the more offensive role but who says they cant alternate?

Yes that could work or once again you could play a 4-3-1-2 or some sort but I think the 4-2-3-1 is the formation we need if we want to complete with the top teams

Lets face it if anything in a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1 all our cms will get enough playing time but I feel like Marchisio still has the edge for the starting spot
