yes he is, overshadowed? more like benched, bale is more consistent and while not as creative or technically gifted he still is a hard worker with better finishing, more pace, stronger, and a great set piece taker.

Di Maria is not the answer to our problems.

Any player might flop. Every investment is a risk and if we don't take risks, we will be less likely to make important gains.
