I have mashed together a report of our present transfer situation, married, ugly, to our financial matters...

You forgot to list funds from the market pool. Not as much as last year (I believe it was around 40m) since the entire sum is divided among three teams, while the last year only Milan and Juventus participated in group stages. Somewhere in region of 30m would be my bet.

We'll still get money from the market pool. Not as much as last year (I believe it was around 40m) since the entire sum is divided among three teams, while the last year only Milan and Juventus participated in group stages. Somewhere in region of 30m would be my bet.
And what do you suspect we will bring in???Loosely of course??? for our incoming funds were divided between us, Milan and Naples.

At this point I hope that we won't sell anyone big to finance the deficit, probably significant one. We'll probably offload few unnecessary ones to reduce costs and the ones for who this might be the last chance to recoup some of the invested sum (Gio, PDC, Motta, Quag or Vucinic, Pepe), but other than that, regarding arrivals, it's hard to predict. Agnelli the other day said that if a player, be it even a top one, fits our project Juve have means to bring him.

Anyway good article and I just thought you'd like to know that we'll still get decent amount from CL market pool.

wise words, DP...and I am set to visit your country in June, starting in Zagreb, moving down the coats to Dubrovnik, before flying out to Naples, taking in the Amalfi coast, then seeing my cousins in Sicily. Any advice???

That is probably the best time to visit it, late spring or early fall. I always avoid July and August on the coast; too many tourists and prices are adjusted accordingly, not to forget unbearable heat and humidity. Anyway I hope you'll have a great time. Zadar, Šibenik, Split and Dubrovnik would be the places to visit and northern Croatian peninsula Istria as well. You'll find plenty of interesting and beautiful sightseeings here, lot of history and tradition, mediterranean atmosphere.

Angel di Maria.

The Argentinian is a target for Juventus, and pretty much any team in Europe would have Real's hand off for €15-20 million, while the tactical conundrum of finding a permanent starting place for Di Maria has been all but abandoned at the Bernabeu.

B...S... news, di Maria's price is around 30 or 35 m and we can't afford that!
We are linked with Nani, Menez and Biabiany. Maybe one of them will come to us but we will sure not buy a top player like di Maria.

From tuttojuve:
In ogni caso Marotta sarà più concentrato a preparare il mercato estivo con obiettivo principale dichiarato Cerci. :yuck:

"Juventus? Mandzukic is fully focused on Bayern Munich. He has a contract for two more years after this season and he's feeling very good in Munich," the striker's agent told Tuttosport.

"Pep Guardiola really values Mario a lot and has shown just that in the first half of the season.

"Mandzukic wants to stay at Bayern and defend the Champions League title."
