Your solution to juves problem is bench marchisio and play asa and then we can suddenly win the cl because marchisio disrupts juves full potential.
No, no, no. You start Asamoah, sell Marchisio and Bonucci to Monaco for a combined fee of 50+mil, Gio to Liverpool for 15mil and give away PDC. Then you invests the money into players that will improve our team. I'd buy back Melo personally. Melo>Cheesio

ofcourse marchisio is better in offense. asamoah uses only one foot, his passing is bad, lacks creativity... the only thing he has better than marchisio is his phisical presence and his shot maybe...

Asamoah has 5-6 successful dribbles per game, creates chances for himself and his teammates, his passing isn't bad, he indeed uses mostly left foot, but I don't recall when was the last time Marchisio has dribbled past his marker in the opponents half. Only good, timed in runs is what he has over Asamoah and that is something he hasn't been doing for a while.

in the 352 we use a midfield of a playmaker (pirlo) and two btb midfielders which also need to be good passers and have some creativity because our wing-backs dont have any. without that we would have a midfield of pirlo and 4 headless chickens running the whole game without any function (offensively). asamoah doesent fit in that category and cant be used there (in important matches).

You've just described Marchisio's work as a b2b mid.

Asamoah is doing what he can in LWB, he is not top LB and he is not top LW but he is a top CM. He is playing out of his position and that's his biggest problem. On the other hand, we do not have better player for this position at the moment.

thats why he is used as a regista now. if you put asamoah in the btb role you will just get another one of these. marchisio at his best mastered that role, now he has a downfall (lack of cofidence, different role), but from him we atleast know that he can (or could) play that, and if he can his form back he will be able to play that again, with asamoah on the other hand we know that he can never have such a role.

That's where you're wrong. I don't know how can you conclude something like this. Asamoah few times when played there, was simply fantastic; better in duels, quicker, good shot, decent enough pass, always present and in the midst of our actions. Marchisio, face it, apart from half a season in 2011/12 was more miss than hit as a b2b midfielder. He's too inconsistent player for that role. This new holding midfielder role will suit him much better.
