You can't be serious with that last part. PSG like most of these newly rich clubs are destroying some wonderful talents. Menez was actually very good last season and season before as well. Don't know how much you've seen them, but he looks more mature compared to his days in Roma, more consistent. Only this season he's somewhat behind in the pecking order, but consider the talent at their disposal. In spite of that in the last few games he's been finding his place back among starters.

No one said Menez is the best winger in the world, or even top best dozen even to begin with, but you said he is DC level when he is an all around good winger (only season and half ago he had 20 assists and 8-9 goals as a starter). Just one that has been outcompeted completely with an overabundance of quality in PSG, with lavezzi, Lucas, Pastore and now even Cavani playing winger over him, so yes there is he a reason he is forgotten now, very good one. And he only costs 3m because he is half a year from being free. And that he is cheap or free is the very reason that makes him even more enticing for us, its a very good market opportunity to address a dire need we have, no wingers whatsoever, let alone any good ones. He is actually quite flexible as a "winger", prolly better as an attacking midfielder, would give Conte some space to try out different variations.
Now go through the thread again, and see if anyone said he is anything close to the best winger, only thing I see is you comparing him to quite possibly our worst player. I for one though not a fan of him, wouldnt mind getting this just for 3m, or free.
