He is cup tied, and we most definitely don't need him to win another Serie A title. He'd be immense in the CL, but he's ineligible for the competition having already played for Chelsea this season.

Mata is on 3 GBP wages. Not that much for his quality.

Getting him for his normal fee is impossible for juve. But IF we could manage another loan for his decreased price, we should really do it.

Thing is

1) I dont see how we'd afford it
2) Why would chelsea sell ?

Chelsea may not want to sell, but Mata might want to leave to get more playing time and secure his spot on the Spanish team in a WC year. Personally, I'd take your Belgian boy De Bruyne. He shows promise, and seems a hard working and dedicated footballer. However, both are cup tied and won't be able to help us in the CL (where we actually need them).

I don't see why they'd loan Mata to us. From our perspective he has high wages, can't play CL and most likely can't be afforded on a normal transfer in the summer. From theirs, they should want to loan him to someone who can actually afford to buy him come summer, since it's unlikely anyone will do it in January due to him being cup tied. The link just doesn't make much sense to me, so I doubt it's legitimate. The only way I see it being a possibility is if we fail to move on in the CL and pursue the EL trophy.

No ifs and buts, if Mata becomes an opportunity, you pounce on it, no second guessing.
Milan did that aswel, and look at their finances now.

Its simple, if chelsea asks something we can afford, we should allways do it

But we need to be able to afford it

Mata is on 3 GBP.

Just read something i didnt realise yet.

"he fears for his world cup chances".

This is a HUGE factor.

3 GBP for a player we don't need that badly outside of CL, which he isn't available for, isn't THAT cheap. There's also the issue of why would he choose us? We don't play a formation that he fits right into in the league, nor is he going exposure on the European stage unless we fail to qualify for the CL knock-outs. I would think he'd rather go somewhere else. It's also not like the Serie A is the most well-respected league in Europe nowdays. Llorente is back in favour mostly due to his CL performances, which Mata would lack. I just think he'd rather go back to La Liga, since that's probably the league that's being most closely watched than any other by Del Bosque outside of CL / EL. A loan back to Valencia would make more sense in my opinion, as he'd get both European football and play in La Liga.

Time for Exor to subscribe more shares I guess. They sold SGS for 2.6 billions last spring and recorder capital gain of 1.5 billions, so it would be really nice if they invest only a little bit. Couple of percentages would suffice and they wouldn't even notice that. :D

Mata, De Bruyne, Griezmann, Di Maria and Menez are all cup tied!
So it's better for us to ignore them?
Menez is the next giovinco and for some reason extremely overrated here

Chelsea wont sell De Bruyne, so its kinda useless to hire him

Mata is a diffrent thing, unlike De Bruyne, he doesnt have his NT spot secured, and unlike De Bruyne it seems for now that the coach doesnt have him in mind for the future

Oh we can easely fit Mata in a 4-2-3-1, or that 4-3-2-1 xmas formation with tevez behind llorente, where tevez stays central and mata drifts outside

Loan, with option to buy offcourse. Just loane is ridiculous

I really hope we switch formations in the league, but today's game was a perfect opportunity to do so and we passed it up, so I'm not too optimistic

Loan with option to buy would be nice, but I don't know if we can afford the prices I've seen thrown around for him unless his value drops.

It still wouldn't make sense for Chelsea to sell him for anything we could afford, given that he won't be short of suitors with much more financial firepower than we have.

We wouldnt be able to afford Mata anyway. He'll ask for a huge contract if we were to show interest and obviously he'd be out of our price range if we're talking about an outright sale.Pls stop dreaming about a loan + option to buy deal.Too stupid to think that it will happen.Chelsea arent a charity organization.

And fuck only loan deals.Thats for peasant teams.
