Why does everyone keep saying ogbonna is young ? he is 26, he should be at his prime already. Ogbonna is not good enough to start for any top 3 team in europe, he wasn't even called to NT ahead of the likes of palleta and ranocchia. I agree that good defenders are rare these days but that doesn't make him a decent defender at all. He is weak in 1v1, has no sense of positional awarness at all, lacks any kind of leadership qualities, why the hell do we need a player like him ?
We don't need another central defenders. We could use one, but upgrades over what we have now aren't within our reach or long gone by now.
